Having just completed my first play-through of Forbidden West, I'm just in awe of how good this game looked and how it still holds its own in 2022. FW is a definite upgrade - but the first game was such an incredible feat.

All of the boss level machines: “We fight for dominion over the earth!” Tallneck: “Lala Lala laaaaa” Also: I aspire to this level of badassery.

All machines: "Hephaestus damn it it's Aloy!!!" Tallneck: "I'm a barbie bot, in a barbie wo-o-o-rld"

Legit the jumpscares some of these robots get is astonishing. This is the first game ever where I felt legitimate fear of life, like I actually felt in danger. It's a true feat of this game, it's amazing.

And I run away at the sight of a single Thunderjaw. Props to you, this level of skill and intricate plan-building on the spot is unimaginable.

I went back to Zero Dawn after doing a playthrough of Forbidden West just to look back on what's changed and I completely forgot how OP the Banuk weapons were. A bit slow compared to FW's overdraw weapons, but the damage more than makes up for it. Also no long dodge in Forbidden West which kinda sucks

I really freaking hate rock biters. That bastard came out of nowhere! These videos are so damned entertaining, thanks for not editing out the missteps, they just make it that much more exciting, I thought your ass was dust for sure more than once. Epic.

This is like a masterclass in HZD! I never used my double/triple shots very well, nor tripwires as offensive weapons. I treated them as traps you lay and then wait. Your strategy makes me want to play again.

I remember getting scared at the sight of sawtooth in my first HZD try. and then dread facing thunderjaws in my 2nd play through. playing FW in 2022 now and I just don't want to meet frostclaw or fireclaw so this - this 13 min Ultra Hard against all of these machine - I mean, I'm watching you do this and I'm watching it again and and it's just insane! truly awe inspiring skills, my man

Man, H:ZD just holds a very important spot for me. The graphics, which still look great btw, the design of the "monsters" (yes, I did call them that prior to release), the gameplay and most importantly of all, the story. I'll never forget the "wait.... holy shit!" moment that completely changes the perspective.

Dude, that dodge you made with the Scorcher right after you killed the Thunderjaw was insane!

I was chill when you fought the normal machines first even if it was a bit crowded for my taste, regardless I did so before in the normal campaign even(Not a mission but with the normal method of f#cking around and find out) but the moment you spawned five Corruptors and fought them at the same time is when you earned my respect. Bravo to you fella.

They really needed her for Enduring Victory.
