Here's the part where it got really blurry and I couldn't see the rest of the movie well. I was very moved by Violet's attitude of gratitude, and the grace she shows toward the broken man...a shadow of the Major's former self

Those who saw Lost will get this reference. Essentially in her last letter Violet told Gilbert: Please do not give up. All we really need to survive is one person who truly loves us. And you have her. I will wait for you. Always. I love you, V Violet's earnest sincerity brought Gil out of his fit of remorse. Truly profoundly poignant....and we can't help but shed tears.

The bucket of tears I must have produced crying from this anime . This is the most tear jerking anime my kids and I watched.
