  • RIP Jeremiah. Brock's guitar brought me to meet someone who etched your drumming into the fabric of their being. The only reason I'm alive today is because of you. Won't be a sad sappy sucker. Thank you for your gift you shared with the world. 🖤 Fuck cancer.

One of my favorite memories is watching them play this live and it started to sprinkle a warm rain ❤

I never really listened to a ton of modest mouse, but I have loved this song since I first heard it. I swore it was written about me. I was 14, my parents went to go get cigarettes and forgot me (theyre gonna be so embarrassed when they remember lol) and I moved into an old friends parents trailer. we ha a falling out earlier, but patched up when he saw me walking to my lean to in -20 weather. The love of my life forever and ever just dumped me over text, i get to his house and hear this song. love it, the memories, good and bad and truly awful, all of it. better then whatever tf this boring shit i do now is. good band, sorry to hear a member recently passed....

This whole album is nothing short of a masterpiece. I am seeing MM in 3 days and they're probably my biggest bucket list.

I absolutely love MM my dad used to play third planet for me on his guitar to put me and my sister to sleep. Will always have a special spot in my heart.
  • @BoofChunku
My dad went through a rough divorce which caused me to go down a rough path, this song means everything to me on all levels from my dad’s experiences to my own
  • @Z1zero5
JG inspired me to keep playing drums no matter what. Thanks to all of MM for all you've done for me.

I grew up with this album. And this song in particular was played in my sisters car like every day. And I remember the moon and Antarctica came out. And my sis and her older friends were like they sold out so bad on this album. Lol. They were hipsters. But anyways. I used to play a lot of music growing up. Played in tons of bands. And had an always evolving solo project. But I ended every show with a bankrupt of selling/styrofoam boots” medley Cause Bankruot is one of the most perfectly written sad songs ever. And styrofoam boots has some of the best Isaac Brock lyrics he is so good at making you SEE the lyrics “well some man walks in lookin a bit like everyone I’ve ever seen. He mo just like Crisqo Disco breath hundred percent listerime. He said something to someone else but directing every thing to me. “Every time anyone gets on their knees to pray well it make my telephone ring. And I’ll Be damned” Like god damn that is an amazing verse.

The only sure way to pinpoint times in my life is by seeing what year certain albums and songs dropped. Music's so powerful! ✌️ ❤

The ending of this song is epic! Makes the song brilliant in my opinion.
