Ofcourse toothbrush time wasn’t the quickest neither was it willingly. His little personality means so much to me. I did loose his hair but I’ll wash it tomorrow. We spent some time on his peanut ball for a few just to help his hips, legs and core for balance. He was very expressive today and communicated when he didn’t want something even if it was a particular tv show. His arm strength still is slow and he watched as the boys helped me with making certificates for church youth and education program Sunday. I volunteer and serve as best as I can when possible. Jer Bear gave Jamari a hard time choosing fruits and then I gave him 30 minutes off the ventilator to swing outside. He then got to pick an activity to do with Josiahs before bath time but he definitely didn’t want to give up what was in his hand. I’ll definitely be putting magnets on his ear as Dr. Jen sent some home. I’m thankful I recorded it so I can do as she did especially regarding placement. We need to get on a normal sleep schedule because caregiver burnout is real and I feel it in more ways than one.
Today we pray that you know sometimes you have to release whatever is in your hand for God to bless you with so much more that He has in store for you. May you never forget that God is good yesterday, today, tomorrow and forevermore.
