I feel like, if Wordle were an 80s MS-DOS game, it would be on a non-copy-protected Floppy drive and released as shareware, so that it can spread to as many players as possible. Lingo, the TV show that Wordle was based on, had a MS-DOS game anyway, so this is more real than you expect.
