Yes, the black and white pottery piece with the lid with an integrated insert is a butter bell. Butter goes inside the lid (the bell). Add just enough water in the base to cover the bell's opening and to surround the bell. The water keeps air from getting to the butter and the butter stays soft (room temperature). making it easier to spread, while stored in the bell. (The flat lid top also makes it easy to access the butter.) Best if you use the butter in the bell quickly (a few days), so there's little chance of it becoming rancid. 🙂

I love brass as well, although you find so many more types of brass objects than I find. I just ordered (recently) from your website, a trio of brass candle sticks that I am very eagerly anticipating receiving!!! Even though I have more things than I could possibly ever want or need, I am seriously considering driving from Florida to Oregon just to shop at your thrift stores. Ours are nothing compared to what you find in yours. Looking forward to going back and watching all of your videos and learning more about vintage and antique finds.

Ohhh I wish you had picked up the green glass candle holders! They were vintage. So pretty in group display. Also would have picked up the wood bookends despite the condition. We can’t get that in the mid Atlantic where I live. Love your videos! Good luck with the new booth.
