I own the my16 cx-5 GT and it has so much more technology, including the i-stop, i-active package it comes with a very nice design and look with drl and led taillight. Though i still love the CR-V been in the indrustry for a long long time and its just an all out nice car. To me i feel like the cx-5 is more directed towards younger people that like to have some more 'fun' on the roads with the 2.5L awd 6 spd auto and will easily pick up the technology (radar cruize control) But with the CRV, has a little more room and good for familys and older people with a nice smooth ride with the cvt. Both cars are amazing, not picking sides just casue i own the cx-5.

The Honda CRV EX fully loaded with every extra is an incredible car....but at £38.200 which we paid is a little high but saying that a fantastic vehicle have no complaints.9 speed auto is an incredible gearbox.
  • Not a fan of CVTs. The Mazda dealer pointed out that my Mazda3 still uses a real automatic transmission with tip tronic capability.

Morrie Group.. These reviews are helpful and entertaining esp if they are unbiased.  You seem to miss alot you could have mentioned, esp when you mention the issue on one, you should clarify about the other (for instance.. you mention the Sport mode selection on the Mazda, but said nothing about the Sport mode of the  Honda CR-V), Also you went into detail about the Mazda AWD, how it worked but,  didn't mention how the Honda AWD system worked, or if it was different.   From the recording, it seemed the Mazda had more road noise (you didn't mention about either model)  Also, you picked a flashy color to review on the Mazda, but a dull/boring color on the Honda.  I'm wondering if maybe Morrie Group doesn't sell Hondas,  but do sell Mazda(?)

sorry, the host doesn't emphasized much of the difference when this is supposed to be figuring out which is which.
  • I love my Mazda3. So much better than my ex's 2016 Honda Civic Touring.

When I test drove a bunch of CUVs, the CR-V was so boring and soulless. When I started driving the CX-5, I fell in love...
