I haven't played UFO all that much since its release, since I've really been focusing my work on the game I've been writing, but when challenged to a race by BabyBahamut to see whether or not I could pacifist Nue before he beat her regularly I simply couldn't resist.
More comments in the running commentary, but let me say this about it here - this was HARD! The stage is a real pain to do correctly with the UFO collection and then the UFO attacks are a billion times harder due to timeout, she has a timeout stage that decimates you and you get less life and one less bomb by not shooting. I'm really, really proud of this run! I still have it!
Don't expect too much more Touhou in the near future though, because my game really is commanding 110% of my time, but after the main engine is finished and most of my work is done Dec-Jan-ish I'll probably play it a bit more again... In the mean time, check out the DevLog!

Yeah, there's definitely differences. Reimu's hitbox is noticeably smaller.

I just conquered this hard extra with SanaeB. That last card really gets my heart pumping.. However, in Rainbow UFO, i just bomb my way through it... I might get a no-death sooner or later..

6:45 - I'm not sure, but have you tried moving upwards? It looks like the first wave, only mirrored and longer/denser, and moving up past the UFOs seemed to work well for you on the first wave.

I see, I've given up on trying to clear games for a while so I don't really know, I'm screwing around with danmakufu a bit, just seems weird from a dev's eyes. sweet run either way

I really enjoy her non-spells, they're tricky but not BS (*cough* unlike mokou *cough*). Is there actually a hitbox difference between characters in UFO? The game doesn't mention any special traits for any of them, not even different speeds. Danmaku Chimera might be my favourite Extra spell.

Booooo :P Ah well, a worthy winner. *crushed* If only you HAD ragequit... :P Yeah, I've never had trouble with Snake Show. I think I've had one clipdeath where I moved too quickly and hit the tail-end but other than that no trouble. I gotta say I think I might agree with you on Heian Alien > UN Owen. Only because it sounds more like fighting music rather than playing a game. (Flandre is, after all, only playing.) At 7:19 exactly, there's a gap between the two blues leading to freedom.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's doable, I just couldn't wrap my head around it. Apparently BaitySM is working on it.

Better than U.N Owen?! Blasphemy! On another note, very good job, those fast balls (haha... not funny) at the end looked very difficult to dodge.

Yeah, but from what I've tried it's really hard not to get trapped there due to being stuck inside the lasers being shot.
