  • I didn’t see my dog, Nigel, for 4 years while I was at college in America. When I returned home to South Africa, wondering if he’d remember me. He got so excited, he jumped through the window of the moving car to get to me; hugging me, licking me and howling like crazy. It still brings tears to my eyes.
  • i started laughing at how adorable the lion was when he was running and suddenly changed directions to go to his owner. adorable.
  • When I returned after the Vietnam War, my #1 priority was reuniting with my dog.
Upon seeing him again, he didn't seem to care treating me like a stranger. I was pretty shocked / upset. My best friend just turned around & went back outside.
About 5-10 minutes later he apparently remembered & crashed through the patio door sending pieces of glass everywhere! He went absolutely nuts! Far beyond anything I had expected.
We were together again 24/7 for many years after until he finally passed comfortably in my arms.
  • I cried so hard while watching this! Whoever says animals don't feel is crazy! They are God's creatures just like us and should be treated with the same amount of kindness and compassion as us. It also reminded me of a long-forgotten memory.

Once when I was around 13-14 my cat was taken by the local animal catcher (as a supposed stray cat) and then left at the local animal shelter (a kill shelter) at the behest of our mean neighbors. Someone adopted her right away. We went to the shelter to look for her and the people that worked there told my mother and I who adopted her and where they lived. We arrived at their house in another town several miles away after a long drive. It was evening, and already after dark. We talked to the adopters and they told us our cat had run away the day before. So we asked permission to search their property for her, which was substantial since they lived on a farm. We both called and called for at least an hour. Then I started hearing a faint meow. I kept calling and lo and behold, here she comes straight to me! She was SO HAPPY to see us! She looked so worried on the way back home, like she was gonna lose us again. Her eyes looked like human eyes when they haven't slept for days. Needless to say, we kept a close eye on her after that, and in essence, she became an indoor cat. Those neighbors never got another chance to hurt her!

Praise the Lord these animals found their people!
  • It’s crazy how the need to be physically embraced is almost some sort of universal language of love and care
  • This is why it makes me upset when people treat animals poorly as if they are objects that don't have emotions. Whether their feelings are as complex as ours or not is irrelevant, these reunions are heart warming.
  • the little boy and his dog collapsing on the floor and hugging just warmed my heart 🥺

My cat went missing for 9 days having never been missing before - I really thought he was dead and the grief I felt was overwhelming. When he appeared at the window early one morning and miaowed and looked so happy to see me I burst into tears. He’d been trapped in a garage and fortunately he’d had access to water. He didn’t leave my side for weeks afterwards

People reuniting with pets honestly makes me cry every time with happy tears it is so damn cute and lovely
  • I was in a coma for 2 months following a ruptured brain aneurysm. When I came home after 3 months in the hospital, my pit/lab mix Kaiju greeted me with such tenderness and care it blew my mind. She was so excited to see me but knew how sick I was. So she was completely gentle with me. Now if she is around me she has to be touching me at all times. She won’t let me go. I love that puppers so much!
  • The kid who lost his brother getting his dog back almost made sweat from my eyes.
  • My son, husband, and I went on vacation for 1 week leaving our dog with a loving friend. When we returned, she screamed louder in joy, each time one of us walked into the room. I thought her tail would come off. I never would have believed it possible, had I not heard her expression of excitement and joy myself. Animals are amazing living beings!
  • I didn't see my horse for 21 years. When I found him, he knew me before I knew him! He let me know who he was, real quick. He was 24 years old by that time. I bought him on the spot and he lived out his final days with me. I loved him very much.
  • This makes me sad. Animals are completely at our mercy. A really special shout out to people who are kind to animals.
  • Animals give unconditional, genuine love!! They deserve the same in return!!
    Real love!
  • My Shih Tzu daisy died a week ago of old age at 17 years old. Im just now getting to the point where I can think about her without welling up. She was the best Dog I ever had and I miss her. Video's like these are soothing. Man, Arent Dogs the best. Like a gift from God for all us humans.

The lion running out of the cage then suddenly hear his owner calling and tripping was so cute.
  • The little boys crying when reunited with their dogs makes me cry every time
  • No human being will give you the love and loyalty that an animal will, this is unconditional love
