The reason why the first trick works is that, every time you switch weapons, it cancels the cooldown of the weapon you just used. Roundabout and Lobber have high damage, but long cooldowns. By canceling the cooldowns, you're getting a higher rate of fire than either weapon can do by itself. This is a common trick found in many games that have weapon switching. DOOM 2016 and Enter the Gungeon, for example.

You probably knew about this already, but if you make a second glitch guide, there's a way to glitch Dr. Kahl's robot into staying in the flying mode without entering the final section, it's happened to me, but I'm not sure how to replicate it. My best guess would be to hit it just as the head leaves the screen, but idk for sure

That damage glitch reminds me of the Malice Cannon glitch in Touhou 8.

About the "Max damage" glitch: it has to use the lobber. The lobber does a ton of damage but it fires very slowly, but switching weapons negates the lag that is in between shots. It's the same for roundabout as it is also a slower weapon and switching negates startup/end lag

Nice. The weapon switch glitch is pretty similar to the MAlice cannon from "Touhou Eiyashou~ Imperishable Night" or the quick switch reload from some of the MGS games.

Another thing I haven’t seen mentioned is that if you don’t beat all of the bosses and go to King Dice’s Boss Fight there is a little extra cutscene telling you to get more debtors

For the first glitch, the weapon switching one, if you change your shoot button to a trigger/bumper and you switch weapon button to a face button it makes it MUCH easier to mash. Right thumb VS left index finger. I use a Gamecube controller and have swap weapon mapped to Y and shoot mapped to L, so I just hold L to shoot while mashing Y to switch weapons. That makes it easy with a gamecube controller to jump by pressing A as well, since it right underneath your mashing finger so you can just glance onto it.
