  • Dear RVW what a wonderful legacy you have left us. Thank you. I too really needed this at the Moment.

Touching - hard to stop the tears... WV's lesser-known works (5 Tudor Portraits, Pilgrim's Prog etc) are wonderful. His music reflects the traumatic age he lived in, which no doubt lessens the number of his followers, but somehow our collective power more than compensates
  • The master sr. Ralph him give us and the humanity his beautiful music ask other compositors they are immortality and they live now in the Eliseos camp's tanks to they and I feel happy what ask be it

Very well done! Thanks for putting this up. If I had been a music teacher, my students would have certainly have been made aware of this video.
  • Thank you so much Colin for the biography. Over many years you have been Ralph Vaughan Williams true representative on YouTube. You have led myself and I expect many many others to learn, listen and appreciate the beauty of RVW's music. Thank you once again for all the work you have put into this project and hoping all goes well in your life.

Thank you, Colin. No one else could have made such a loving, emotionally moving biographical tribute as this. Viewing it on the final day of 2020, it helped to bolster my optimism for a better year ahead. The world needs more brilliant, compassionate visionaries like RVW.

Thank you for this. His work has become central to my life, my family and my wellbeing- days now gone
  • RVW redeemed the 20th century for beauty in music with The Tallis Fantasia and The Lark Ascending. Thank you for this video biography of a very worthy subject.

Thank you, Colin. That was very well done. Both informative and moving at the same time. The loss of Gustav Holst, RVW's closest friend and most trusted advisor, brought tears to my eyes. It also saddened me that RVW and Ursula had only five years together as husband and wife. Every day of life that we have is precious, and your short (but excellent) biography of RVW is a reminder of that.

Thank you for compiling this Colin, it is much appreciated. It’s been a very trying year what with the pandemic and the passing of my father. Lark Ascending amongst others was often played on our family record player and I have taken great comfort in listening to Ralph Vaughan Williams many pieces. Have a blessed Christmas and a safe and healthy New Year when it comes. Kind regards. Garry
