Noel concentrating like his life depends on it. What a dream come true this was for him.

To see Noel reduced to a giggling fan-boy is pure gold. Wonderful stuff. Rest in peace, John.

Zak Starkey is a beast on those drums. Awesome! Ringo must be proud!

Anyone who hasn’t already listened to Entwistle’s isolated bass to this song should really do so. It’s a thing of spectacular beauty.

That's the one and only time I've seen Noel Gallagher humbled and, in places, a little scared. Daltrey's ability to scream just the same as he did in the 70s is, to my knowledge at least, unequalled as an original 60s rock star.

Noel is all of us on that stage. Like a kid in a big sweet shop. A bleeding big grin!!

I have even more respect now for him. Brilliant composer and performer Noel Gallagher has played to the biggest crowds in the biggest venues across the planet, yet he looks literally awestruck up there surrounded by The Who. Who would NOT be??

Zak Starkey is the biggest reason The Who came back as strong as they did in ‘99. He pumped the life back into that band.
  • Even though Noel is 33 there he looks like a little kid in a candy store playing with The Who. These guys are a lot older than him and you can also tell it's a dream come true. So yes this is a kid in the candy store.

For this marvelous energetic song you can wake me up in the middle of the night. I was in my 20s when I was hypnotized and 70 years now still am. RIP John E. & Keith M. Rock and roll will never die🎸!!!

I think the greatest song ever written to be played live is this one. Townshend has a knack for writing music that is explosive when played live on stage. The song moves along dramatically and intensely throughout building up to a truly magnificent ending. Let's face it. The Who simply kicks ass live. Every time I see and hear them. Always have, always will.

Zak Starkey is so underrated. Killer drummer.

Rest in Peace, John Entwistle. The best bass player the world ever had.

The older I get the more I appreciate this ground breaking band of the 60s there all legends and are still slaying it today in 2022.
  • @TheSawBand
When people are talking about ability on stage didn't anyone notice John Entwistle by far the best musician on that and most other stages
  • @tadthemod
Thank you Noel, you showed respect and talent, LOTS of talent.

Entwistle "The OX" had his own unique style (no other bass player even tried to copy his style), I agree, the best and miss him; may he rest in peace.

Man what an honour for Noel to be on that stage with one of the greatest bands of alltime.
