It's not the loyalty to the gang, but the loyalty to Dutch. Dutch isn't loyal to the gang.

This should be titled loyalty to Dutch not the gang. If this were actually based on the gang Arthur would be number 1 and Dutch and Micah would be at the bottom.

This is wildly off on multiple fronts. Dutch betrayed everyone whenever it was convenient, Arthur was loyal to him even AFTER Dutch betrayed him.

i feel like this guy didnt even play the game. arthur was loyal to Dutch up until the end. He went back to camp after he found out micha is the rat just to tell dutch. in the standoff at the end arthur only pointed his gun at dutch after dutch started to point his gun at him and sided with micha. he only went again dutch because he cared about the other members and he cared about dutch and tried to reason with him. his last words to dutch were "i gave YOU all i had". But yeah let rank him 11 on the loyalty scale for dutch and the gang.

I really enjoyed watching your video as usual, but I'm afraid I disagree with your opinion this time. As you said at the end of the video, it's a ranking of the gang members loyalty to Dutch. However, I think it's more important to rank them according to their loyalty to the gang as a hole:
- For starters, I'd rank bottom Micah instead of Trelawny. Sure, both ultimately cared for what was best for them but Trelawny never did anything against anyone in the gang.
- Maybe Molly should be second to the bottom, she didn't care for anyone in the gang except Dutch and only while he cared about her.
- Jack should just not be qualified, although it was a fun :)
- When it became clear that Dutch was driving the gang of a cliff, gang members had to choose. Be loyal to Dutch while it could hurt my friends or be loyal to my friends abandoning the gang... In this case, what is really being loyal to the gang.
- Dutch in the end only cared for his ego and would even sacrifice gang members to get his way. Remember leaving John rotting in the penitenciary. Is he really loyal to the gang?

So to sum up, this video should be titled "Ranking Every Van Der Linde Gang Member By Their Loyalty (To Dutch)" XD

Make up your mind, are you ranking for loyalty to the Gang or to Dutch? Dutch was not loyal to the Gang anymore than Micah, Dutch used the gang to get what he wanted, Arthur saw this in Guarma. Arthur had Loyalty to the Gang, he stayed through Ch. 6 because of his loyalty to the Gang, wanting everyone to be safe, and together if he could, while Dutch and Micah destroyed it.

Despite the fact I disagree with your tier scale this time, it was still a well put together video & you made good arguments for your opinion. Like others have said, I would judge loyalty to the gang as a whole, not just loyalty to Dutch.

Trelawny wasn’t disloyal. I mean he didn’t talk when he was beaten and tortured. He definitely did care about what happened to them and especially Arthur. He seemed to genuinely care about him

Trelawny is definitely more loyal than Micah, and he doesn’t always help the gang for his own personal benefit.

Need I remind you that Trelawny was the one who found Sean, who was captured in Blackwater? There was no financial stake in a rescue mission from a town where every Lawman and Pinkerton want Van Der Linde’s head. No reward, not for one’s personal gain anyway. But Trelawny helped anyway.
