I love the over-complication of why they think people hate ian. The long and the short of it is just that he flipped 180 over night and pulled the ladder up while trying to get in the good graces of a bunch of snakes by becoming one. That is a one sentence answer that I'm sure 99% of his haters could get behind, but they always go for the meta-deep "they're trying to live vicariously through you" BS.

I have seen this happen to friends in real life. Nerdy friend gets a moderately attractive girlfriend and completely forgoes his personality to take on hers. Ian is lost. It happens. The reality is Anisa is a massive manipulator and to think she isn't doing it to Ian is pretty naive. I dont feel bad for him because this was his choice but ultimately i get it. Dude was top tier content creator in his prime but I am guessing he was lonely. Most people would give up just about anything to not be lonely. Unfortunately, he gave more than he had to.
