Gameplay is just too fast to use strategies. And fatigue doesnt work as it should. The game has so much unused potential and thats sad.

1000-1100 versus player here. I found “shooting” power play to be the most “normal” formation. Go back to your defender, then D to D and look for the cutter. If using umbrella always attack straight down middle and pass to open side if pressured

This is unbelievable. How can they get away with such incompetence? No wonder I've been having trouble. Up is down and bad is good!

On something like hold line / pinch are they talking about my blue line or theirs? That's what I get confused about because there are two aspects to defense - when you're in their zone preventing a breakout, or protecting your own zone. The game does not make clear which is which in these strategies. One other thing I don't see in these settings, is do pk players focus on clearing the zone to play offense or clearing the puck? What really frustrates me since I play mostly with a locked position, is my PK teammates don't even try to clear the puck, and when they do, half the time it goes out of bounds and I wind up with 3 on 5. Of course this never happens to the CPU team. They get perfect clears if they get even near the puck and naturally NEVER get delay of game. The game's CPU cheats.

So the strategies are still broken even if you set them pre-game?
