Kirk Thomas Cameron is an American actor. He is known for his role as Mike Seaver on the ABC sitcom Growing Pains, a role for which he was nominated for two Golden Globe Awards. Kirk was an atheist as a teenager but had asked Jesus Christ to become his Savior and forgive him of his sins in 1988 at the age of 17, becoming a born-again Christian.
