Watch 7 Ultra is the successor to Watch 5 Pro, so no bezel. Also, the design is not a copy of Apple but just an enhancement to Galaxy Gear Sport launched over half a decade ago.

I'm not buying into the whole "Samsung stole Apple's design" due to Samsung had a watch that looks like the Watch7 Ultra. It was called the Samsung Gear Sport. So maybe Apple stole some design ques first.

Design is a personal preference. I think the watch 7 ultra looks great! Traded in my watch 5Pro. Also, I had pre-registered for the $50 discount no commitments. Out the door the watch 7 Ultra was $261. No brainer for the upgrade at this price point with all the new features and next gen processor. Hoping Samsung knocked it out of the park with the responsiveness and battery efficiency. And now that bezel. I have the Watch 6 Classic in silver for the office and social events. It's a great looking watch and I get lots of compliments. One UI6 beta (2nd round) has improved the battery life too! I can go with or without a bezel. Why? Because the bezel only rotates your quick settings and tiles horizontally. You still have to touch the screen, swiping up/down and tapping. Now, if Samsung wants to go the distance and be like Garmin (already halfway there, ...body battery, e-hem..looks very familiar), then Samsung can use the three buttons to fully navigate the watch without any touch screen interaction. This would be like the Garmin Epix with the Amoled screen. You use touch screen and/or use buttons to fully navigate the watch. Galaxy Watch 8 Ultra. Let's go! Also, that center quick button could be for rotating but then that's totally Apple isn't it. I don't care. Companies copy each other all the time. Let's get the best of the best. Again, I am okay without the bezel or rotating crown button. Looking forward to trying out the 7 Ultra!

Been long time Samsung watch guy. Still rocking the Watch4 but would love to have Samsung bring back the watch camera from Gear 2. I used that thing so much for taking photos of receipts and short videos of when my kids were small. I get it though, some places of business can't have that sort of thing for corporate espionage.
