The Tar Heels rushing game put up 336 yards on the day, led by running back Ty Chandler’s 213 yards and 4 touchdowns on the day. Tar Heels quarterback Sam Howell rushed for 104 yards and 2 touchdowns and threw for 216 yards and 1 touchdown in the win. For Wake Forest, quarterback Sam Hartman threw for 398 yards and 5 touchdowns, but also threw 2 interceptions. Hartman also ran for 78 yards and 2 touchdowns, accounting for a school-record 7 TD’s in the loss. Deacons wide receivers A.T. Perry and Jaquarii Roberson had 2 touchdowns each, and 129 and 111 yards respectively.

I hope the league will recognize and not permit receivers to keep getting away with blatant offensive pass interference. It ruined this game. NO, Wake forest really was not good enough to score 50 points on most opponents.
