Man this game was LOADED with studs, Rodgers, Moss, Willis, Woodson, Jordy, Jennings, Gore etc..

It's a shame that this niners defense under Harbaugh didn't stick around for much longer, I truly miss this defense...

Crazy how Rodgers just crumbles every time he faces a good healthy 49ers team

the packers and 49ers rivalry is totally underappreciated! those 2 provide good matchups!

Even though it was one sided in the final scores, the 49ers and Packers had a pretty decent rivalry in 2012-2013: 4 games, 2 playoff games, and all but one game was close.

David Akers at that time tied an NFL record for longest field goal before Matt Prater surpassed his record 2 years later

I remember that game like it was 8 years ago.

I remembered that game,that’s when the 49ers went to the Super Bowl in New Orleans and lost to the Ravens,one season later in the NFC wild Card,they beat the Packers 26-23 with a Game winning field Goal,beat the panthers 23-10,and lost to the Seahawks in the NFC championship game 23-17

It's ironic, Aaron Rogers is by far a better QB than Brett Farve but when we met Farve in the reg or the post he had our number almost everytime whereas with Rogers we've pretty much owned him during his time as a packer.

2012 is a year of infamous HAIL MARY, that make GB going to Candlestick and Kaepernick Happening, if GB won Seattle in that MNF going to 12-4 and 2 Seed.

This was a good win. The first of 4 straight wins against the Packers. I'm guessing the game tonight won't be as fun for me :(

If the 49ers management and Jim Harbaugh weren't beefing beind the scenes, the 49ers would've likely been a force to be wreckoned with. That defense was scary good, but they always had a hard time against Seattle. After Harbaugh left to Michigan, 49ers became a joke for years

Hay does anyonemiss the 2012 Packers where they had Aaron Rodgers as their quarterback and their weapons such as Greg Jennings, james Jones, Jordan Nelson

1. David Akers tied the longest FG ever at that time. 2. He did it in Green Bay, as opposed to the record that was set in Denver where the air is thinner and easier to kick. 3. David was hurt after that and was never the same. He was a six time pro bowl kicker, I closing his first year with SF in 2011. He began a string of misses and would get cut, sign with the Lions and only finish the 2013 season. That kick essentially ended his career.

I remember this game.... this is when David Akers who had a phenomenal season the year tied the record for longest field goal in history but I remember after this he had that injury and he was never the same again he missed a lot of field goals so much that the Niners even tried out another kicker.... but I remember this season because of Randy Moss even though he only had three touchdown passes... Randy Moss made a huge difference in the offense by just being there so much that Michael Crabtree had his best season ever.. I think he was the best receiver that season and didn't even make the Pro Bowl..
