This is why I prefer the games where Luigi is the main star. They're so satisfying to play. Luigi's frightened and fighting for his life, but when he beats a boss or saves one of his friends, it feels incredibly rewarding. Because you're playing as an underdog with flaws and insecurities, you root for them and want them to succeed.

Luigi is afraid, but he is not a coward. Bravery is the mastery of fear, not the lack of it. A true coward would run from this situation, but through trembling feet and clenched teeth, he saved everyone, and that makes him the bravest hero of all!
