the in canon lore for why hobie is so nice to gwen is that in his world he became a punk to fight the system after hearing the music of the greatest musician of his world who was gwen, so when he met the other gwen he admired her because she looked like his worlds gwen

Little side note, Miguel doesn't actually have spider-sense. He was drugged by his boss and when he tried to fix it, his jealous co-worker rewrote his genetic code to be 50% spider...thus he got his spider abilities (I think I'm correct with that origin). It also makes the scene with Mayday cuter because Miguel is genuinely focusing on where she is at all times, hence the catch. All while trying to be a brooding badass lol

My own personal theory is: Miguel is combining two completely separate things and assuming they are dependent upon each other. I think that Miguel is mixing together dimensional Incursions vs Timeline Collapses without realizing. What Miguel experienced was an incursion, which takes a while to happen, but he assumed that the cause of the incursion was because the timeline of that universe was changed; which I think is incorrect, and maybe he doesn't have all the information. So, I think the solution is that the timelines can be changed so long as the person changing it is actually from that universe; so other universes can warn someone and it wouldn't have the same effect as if they were to actively get involved.

That real life world that spot ended up in was Venom’s universe!

The fact that Gwen spider sensed him from another dimension definitely means something with their connection. The writers put way too much detail in every frame, dialogue and moment for that to be glossed over in the next movie.

I definitely had to go back on the first movie 🤣 he definitely cracked the shit outta that guy with a bagel 💀

Fun fact: Miguel O'Hara (Spider-man 2099) does not have a spider sense. Although his senses are heightened, it is still not the same as the spider sense. So he can pretty much get hit if he's not careful, almost everything about dodging is skill based. But not only that, he is surprisingly very fast. Faster than the original Spider-man. His heightened sense and his superior speed practically make up for his lack of spider sense. But that doesn't mean he can presense danger as much as the spider sense does, everything is almost pure instinct.

Most creative and inventive movie of the last 30+ years. Brilliant. Masterpiece.
