Rygel is amazing.. I still think of Him as "real" hahahaha.. I can't help it!! The puppetry skills, facial expressions and voice, make Rygel seem like a living being. I never think of Rygel as a piece of latex.. He's is just one of the Moya crew!! Love Me some Rygel ❤😊. Kudos to the puppeteer's and set crew too!! BRING BACK FARSCAPE!! ❤

That shows special effects are still on par today. In my opinion, it's still one of the best sci-fi shows.

I never thought that there was so much work behind him. I'm so glad that they decided to keep it simple.

My god, I can't imagine all the work that goes into the production...thank you...it's all so truly amazing!!!  Rygel was such an incredible character...incredibly funny too!
  • Rygel is a very interesting character you just love him. this little character is a royal funny creature I laugh at him. he's funny no matter what mood he is in.
  • He's a bit long-winded, but I love his bravado. He knows what he likes & isn't afraid to scrap.

I love Rygel, I was so devasted when I thought he died in episode 16. Kudos to all the hard work and creativity in developing this uniquely good-spirited adventure show.

Rygel and Pilot are some of the greatest feats of puppetry. Not even the Asgard from Stargate or Yoda are quite the same. The range of emotion and level of animation make you think of them as on-par with the living actors working with them.

I loved this show and found out John Eccleston was the voice and puppeteer of the rat host of horrible histories.

8:29 Ecclestone: Then we do a process called "Green Screen". Me: Tell us more about this "Green Screen". Frankly I don't think it will catch on.
  • Rygel was awesome because you were never sure whether he was going to betray the crew or step in and do something brave to save them all. In the end, his good side always outweighed his bad side. Also he’s a PUPPET that we believe is alive!! 5:17

I thought he was imprisoned for 120 cycles? Isn't it stated several times it took him 120 cycles to break out of prison?
