The first thing you have to do before lifting the car, is to loosen the wheel's bolts a bit first. It is easier to loosen them while the wheel is on the ground.

4:35 instead of using the wrench on the right side of the and trying too lift - place the tool on the left side and use your foot to press down. [ back saver ] 5:00 You can loosen the wheel nuts 1/2 a turn while the car is still on the road and before jacking it up at all. 7:00 clean the mating surfaces of the brake disk and the wheel surface. If there is rust or whatever joining two dirty surfaces can allow the wheel to come loose. 11:15 I always keep a torque wrench in my trunk with the correct size socket. Then I know they are tightened to the right amount - not too loose and not enough to snap off the wheel stud. [people do that! ]

That was a very good description on how to change a tire. The only difference that I would make would be in the way you Jack the car up. You should take the little hook and of the one straight piece of metal and put it in the hole of the jack at the other end of that peace it is square on the end. Take the Jack lug and you will notice that there is a square hole in the side of it. Play the square hole over the square on the end of the piece that is in the jack. That makes it much easier using a handle to raise and lower the jack. Other than that, excellent video!
