Rule of thumb.... The casually on-fire dude who rips through steel blast doors barehanded gets to be in charge.

Man Of Steel is SO under appreciated. It’s an amazing movie.
  • Superman with a Beard was something the world didn't know it needed. Thanks Zack Snyder...

I always hated the part of the scene where all the kids are there with the teacher, when Clark's mom shows up. They should have all been in the classroom while adults tended to Clark.

"The world's to big, mom." "Make it your daily planet, Clark."
  • 0:26 fun fact is that Superman saw that guy running towards him to save him in slowmo and decided to get pushed like a human rather than standing there like a wall and the other guy couldn't even move him an inch.

I dont understand why people didn't like this movie. It was very good.

There is absolutely golden cinemaphotography right here: a) One of the crew "saves" Clark from dying by pushing he back. (Yeah, Clark saw he coming and decided to fall over. If Clark would have just stood still, and not moved an inch like Superman would have, that sailor tried to rescue him would be dead or seriously injured.) b) Clarks smirk, when the sailor rescued him risking his life. Its a small but powerful moment when Clark realized humans are worth to save, after all his doubts.

(Clark rips the door off and stands in the fire, shirtless, looking at the oil riggers) Oil Rigger: What the hell is in this oxygen tank?
  • @DJCallidus
Just realised, he ALLOWED that guy to tackle him when the crab cage fell. Tells you how much effort he had to put into just being a man.

So sucks that Cavill will not be Superman again. Despite bad writing, he is far better in the role than anyone else. No one is even close. Ditto Affleck as Batman.

His mother is under appreciated...I could literally see my mom helping me there.
  • i love so much about this origin story... in the rig moment, he is knows he's unlikely to be hurt but is still unsure of his true strength, and still goes for it. Great character writing.
  • Does anyone else notice how Superman’s experience as a boy in school is really similar to how autistic people describe their experience?
  • @IHatePikeys
Best thing about this Superman is he started out as a grizzled blue blood working man finding his way…and not the soft wimp who went to straight to a newspaper…😂
  • Absolutely love how he had so much room to grow strength wise as he struggled holding off the rig. So realistic. Imagine being one of the guys saved and witnessing this shit. Love MoS

The guy in the boat was one of the only tree man that pushed Superman sucessfuly lol
