What Really Happened to our Channel?

Hi everyone - it's Tyler. I just wanted to thank you all for the decade+ of fun we've all shared together. The journey had a lot of ups and downs and we have all grown so much over the years. Despite being so inactive on social media, we always love interacting with you all and reading your experiences, stories, and favorite moments with this channel. The memories we've created are timeless and we're thankful we had you all to share them with. Thank you all, always, for the support you've given us. We're excited to see what the future holds. You guys were my childhood. And I will never forget you!

I have been a fan of WRTP since I was about 14 years old and I’m almost 24 💀 I was devastated when Tyler left and then Chris— Tyson and Spencer tried so hard to keep the channel alive but I just missed the four of them together. Seeing this video gives me hope that eventually down the line they’ll all be together again :) cannot wait to see Chris & Tyler on my screen again w all the shenanigans that await them 😭🫶🏻 and hopefully getting a return someday from Tyson & Spence would be sweet too :) I HOPE YOU ARE ALL WELL I LOVE YOU GUYS <3

It's nice to know that everyone is doing well. When I noticed the uploading stopped, I wasn't surprised since this channel has been alive since I was a kid. But I was worried and hoped that everything was okay with everyone. But I look forward to future content! Just make sure that you guys don't push yourself to, like you said, where it feels like a job. Do it because you enjoy it and take breaks when needed. We'll all still very well be here!😁❤️

Been watching you guys since I was 10 and I’m 20 now. You guys were my favorite part of my childhood that got me into Nintendo games. Watched you guys so much to the point where I even still now talk like you guys and commentate like you guys when I game. Missed you all so much! Glad to hear all of you are doing well ! So one of my favorite memories was, “Mario Party 4- Episode 10,” around the 4:08 mark when Tyson rolled past the star due to a mega mushroom and landed on a space that had a hidden block that gave him a star!

This channel was my childhood no doubt about it. WRTP will never be forgotten, still remember Smashin Sunday’s being my life. Thank you so much Chris, Tyler, Tyson and Spence!

Hello there Chris and Tyler. 😃 I was there when W(R)LTP first started with Super Mario Bros Wii. And you two along with Tyson, Jansen and later Spencer, made it must-watch gameplay from when I was in junior college to the second-to-last semester in senior college. And I have said on my channel in a video where I talked about you lads, how much of an impact all of you had on me back then (during the prime years of the channel and its growth 📈) and the same is true of how much of an impact you have had on me since then. 😃 Quite simply, W(R)LTP made muti-player games fun and that has continued to influence my channel to a certain degree. And I too have moved away from the Let's Play format (the last was completed in 2021). All I will say is that (Chris, Tyler, Tyson, Jansen and Spencer) I wish you each and your families all the best wishes and God bless you all. Chris and Tyler? My heart can’t take this! Get ready for some sentimental stuff. I remember finding this channel and saying meh I’ll watch a couple videos because nobody else is playing these games. A couple years later I’m watching the same channel laughing like crazy subscribed and waiting for the next episodes everyday. There couldn’t have been a better ending and better beginning. Some of my favorite moments are the super Mario 3d world episodes they were so fun and hilarious. I’ve grown up watching this channel and it’s great knowing that two of the people that made my childhood and sparked my interest in gaming will continue and do the same for the kids of the future. Thank you to Chris, Tyler, Tyson, and Spencer for everything. I can’t wait to see your new content every now and then. Goodbyes 👋 ❤

i once struggled with suicidal thoughts and you guys helped me a lot with coping. seeing that its possible to have fun and just enjoy life. its been so many years since that sad point in my life and things have gotten a-lot better and i have you guys to thank for giving me a reason to keep going. i appreciate everything this channel was and everything you guys have done for me and everyone else. thankyou from the bottom of my heart

I haven't been a consistent viewer through the years, but I first found you guys as a kid near the beginning when you did your playthrough of NSMBWii with just a camera pointed at the screen. You were pretty much the first Youtube channel I ever followed, and I'd like to thank you for all the fun and chaos you shared with the world

You ruled my early 10s, all the modded coop mario play throughs, new game releases, thank you for the years of entertainment throughout my childhood ❤

Chris, Spencer, Tyler, and Tyson are my childhood. I watched them when I was 7, now Im 13. I just discovered their channel after 4 years, really missed them

the shorts are working! I LOVED watching this channel everyday when I was in middle-high school and I watched up until my fav member left. I was so happy when I saw a WLTP short pop up, WLTP holds so many happy memories for me. even to this day I have things like “mayhaps” and “I didn’t mean to” in my vocabulary, I still have one of those limited time tshirts too! The shorts are honestly a great idea to reach new viewers as well as old viewers. I’m really glad to see you guys are doing well, this channel helped me out a lot during some troubling times 🫂 (if there isn’t a short for the story about Gary during the Mario tennis ultra smash(?) LP please make one that’s one of my favorite moments lmao)
