The idea of guessing if a student cheated is absolutely stupid. I had a friend who took the SAT in freshmen year and received somewhere around 1100. He literally studied every weekend for a year and almost everyday during the summer for his sophomore year. He took the SAT again in his junior year and college board decided to nullify his score because "he improved too much for the second time taking the test" (the mock test he took was around 1500s). He was also banned from taking any more test from college board (both SAT and AP). He tried to contacted college board and basically got BS responses. His issue was never resolved.
  • i feel very under prepared tbh and don't feel confident at all to take my exam. i just want to wing it and move on with my life because of how low i feel

As a senior, I just wish they cancelled it. Many colleges, such as Harvard, have said they're not accepting AP credit anymore. I just don't want to stress about this.

For those that don't know, test takers in Asia have to take the test at 2 am in the morning. We put together a petition with more than 7000 signatures and sent them an email but they didn't give us any response. The question we asked were quite reasonable in my opinion. We simply wanted to know if we would get any sort of additional support given our VERY obvious disadvantage and why Asia had to take the blunt of this unfortunate situation.
  • I’m just really sad that my entire score depends on a single question. AP Lang for you 😭

The website is gonna crash because everyone has to submit within five minutes, the college board website works like crap normally there’s no way it won’t malfunction

Of course the one year I decide to be all scholarly and take a bunch of AP classes everything goes crazy
  • The fact that most of the exams have been reduced to the hardest sections is going to ruin a lot of people’s scores. AP Spanish is strictly spoken this year which is by far the hardest portion of the test. These exams are simply not a good reflection of the level of student knowledge if they’re strictly focused on niche questions with the cushion portions of the tests gone altogether.

Another major issue with webcam proctoring (and webcams just in general) are privacy issues. Spying/hacking has been much more prevalent through webcams and your personal information could be compromised.

lol, join the club. I'm an AP teacher, and my students have to take tests at 2am and 4am here in Asia. I'm giving them two whole days off.

My biggest fear is how the servers will handle everyone in the world trying to access the test all at once

If they really cared that we perform well... they should've made it longer than 45 minutes. It's horrible to know that there are some extremely intelligent kids who are slow as hell. I AM SLOW AS HELL. I need more than 20 minutes to comprehend the question and just look over the documents! This test is just going to praise kids who cheat or can create a DBQ response faster than another kid.
  • @VincentAlfiero
It’s open notebook so technically theirs no cheating

I feel like the time is a bigger issue than FRQ only. There is no reason to not make the exam 90 minutes long so they can test more material. Split it up into two 45 minute sessions if they have to
