This is my first time to the beautiful country of Armenia. This country, and it's people, know how to eat! We're taking you on a 24 hour STREET FOOD tour in the capital city of Yerevan. Today we will learn about the long and complicated past of this small landlocked country. From the rich history to the devout religion of its people. Armenia has a lot to learn about, and we will be learning about that together in today's episode.

Our menu for the day includes homemade "msho dolma" a dish originating from "western Armenia" or present day Turkey. Bulgar and chopped beef is wrapped in a vine leaf to create an incredibly delicious bite. Next up it's off to see how traditional Armenian gata is made. After what feels like endless free samples at Yerevan's famous GUM Market we head to Vostan restaurant to taste more traditional Armenian cuisine including melt-in-your-mouth lamb.

The Yerevan Square is very cultural and beautiful, and it’s really suitable for taking pictures! I like that lady’s laughter, it feels so friendly! Her cooking skills are great, and the handmade Fettuccine made with that traditional pasta maker must be delicious! That Lavash roll is very attractive to me, no, I should say that every delicacy is very attractive to me, haha! But the most important thing is the desserts. After watching the production process, I feel that Armenian desserts are works of art! Thank you so much for sharing the history of Armenia, may the beautiful woman who was stoned to death and the casualties in the past rest in peace! Thank you very much for introducing Armenian food and the enthusiasm of Armenian mothers, what a great job! 👍🥰🙏

My country, I love it. God willing I will retire there... I also was very closed minded as an American/Armenian. No no no... It is super safe country. People love people and you feel at home everywhere you go. One of the kindest people I ever met in mylife.. What country can you go to pull up in the country part and families invite you in for dinner.. That is how Armenians are. They love people and love entertaining. You will not go hungry in any Armenian home

  • So glad you went to a country that I love, but that few travel vloggers have visited. I know you'll enjoy your time in Armenia, and I hope you'll consider going to its neighbor to the north, Georgia, when your adventures in Armenia come to a close. Thank you so much for highlighting this beautiful country, and its amazing people, history, and food!
  • Luke thank you for going to armenia! I have been several times. Its such a wonderful place, more people should visit.
  • In Armenia they don’t rely much on spices(though everything comes to mind is available there) because the food itself is so tasty and flavourful ❤
