This video presents the world ranking of antimony producing countries from 1970 to 2018.
The unit of measure of the presented data is tonnes (metal content).

A lustrous gray metalloid, it is found in nature mainly as the sulfide mineral stibnite. Antimony compounds have been known since ancient times and were powdered for use as medicine and cosmetics, often known by the Arabic name kohl. Nowadays, antimony is used for many technological and industrial purposes. Antimony is used as a hardening alloy for lead, especially in storage batteries and cable sheaths, and also used in bearing metal, type metal, solder, collapsible tubes and foil, sheet and pipes, and semiconductor technology. Stibnite is used for metal antifriction alloys, metal type, shot, batteries and in the manufacture of fireworks. Antimony salts are used in the rubber and textile industries, in medicine and glassmaking.

Yeah what the hell is it antimony I thought it was alimony alimony would have been interesting but antimony I don't even know what it is and yeah so why are they showing it to me tell me what it is
  • Really shows just how long China's been trying to secure a monopoly on battery technologies (half of antimony worldwide is used in lead-acid batteries). They're trying the same crap with Lithium. Someone really should point out that if they ever get it we just invent a new battery chemistry. Secure 100% of the world's sodium, guys! Good luck with that!
