Vintage television haul - 27th September 2014

Published 2014-09-30
Courtesy of a friend who was downsizing his collection, I ended up with some awesome new additions to my vintage television collection! They're all tube-hybrid sets from the 1960s and early-1970s, including two sets that have been near the top of my "wanted list" for a long time now - a 1961 Admiral Son-R consolette and mid-1960s GE TF-2 portable.

What a great haul Chris!  The last Admiral is a beautiful set! It actually looks younger in design than the 1961 date stamp.  The '69 AWA P4Z is quite a desirable set.  I love the 'modern' look of those sets, terrific!  Great to see a new vid from you Chris!

On the Admiral set.. Son-R (pronounced sonar) means it had an ultrasonic remote control.
