I think the funniest part of this video is that Smallant literally has a page saved to the hotbar that links to a specific point in a video just to tell people they aren't funny.
  • The “beat SMO without playing SMO” challenge solution actually made me lose brain cells but at the same time I became smarter.
  • @MarkoIronFist
Hardest SMO challenge is "Beat the game while singing Fly me to the moon, without getting embarrassed."
  • @WreckinPoints11
I love the comment saying “Beat SMO by playing BotW”, and that gave me an idea: Beating SMO and BotW with both games taking the same inputs, so everytime you press a button, it happens in both games.
  • @SiriusGG
The third challenge (Beat SMO without playing SMO) could have been done easier: 1) Take the game (or the original box it was in) 2) Punch it.

"For anyone that isn't aware, i have a youtube channel" wow thanks for that great information, i cant wait to check it out
  • @yoshifan4456
my favorite thing about this is that the casual run has a quicker time than the depressed speedrun
  • @timothymclean
I was about to make a joke along the lines of "beat stupid YouTube comment challenges without reading them," but then I realized that not reading stupid YouTube comments is actually the best way to beat them.
  • @androo699
Hardest smo challenge: beat the game after wiring all of your money into my bank account
  • @ajculum723
If you have a second switch this could be a fun thing to do, start a speed run on each that are roughly the same length and start a random timer. Whenever the timer goes off pause the game you’re in and switch to the other one.

so honestly, the difference between him playing grumpy and his usual self is huge. the instant he finished his grumpy run, there was a smile back on his face. I couldnt smile as much as this man does
  • I think the breath of the wild "all koroks" challenge meant that the the only requirement to beat the run was all koroks. so basically exclude all fun parts of botw and just look around for koroks. sounds epic
  • @quotemusic5162
I know he's a speedrunner but I want him as my defense attorney.
  • @syfp4769
5:44 I really thought in response to "Now beat it without pokemon xd", he was going to beat pokemon red, without making any use of Pokemon XD: Gale of darkness
  • @klugi4963
Words cannot describe the respect I have for this man doing all these challenges.
  • I was thinking for the beating Mario without playing it, you'd hand the controller to your room mate and instruct and direct him into beating the game. You would technically not be playing the game, but you would be beating it. I also suppose this would also work for not touching the controller.
  • I don't know what's better, linking to 13:27 and letting people hear him talking about being an exhibitionist, or the fact that his any% is slower than his casual speedrun today...
  • Someone asking SmallAnt to complete the game with minimum captures without knowing he has the world record in that category absolutely slays me every time
  • Smallant1 just proves how good he is by traveling back in time to do hundreds or maybe even thousands of speed runs before they’re even asked for
  • Imagine him changing his schedule for that, then hearing "Alright guys today we're beating mario oddesey without turning on the console"
