  • When I bought a farmland last year, my colleagues were laughing at me but in fact I wanted food security for my family
  • as a German Biologist and Pythagorean - the SADDEST part is - the FARMER gets nothing of this at all. If you want to live a good life - you certainly never become a Farmer and Food producer.Even the local Food Markets do not profit from it. The Price and Mass Production Pressure for Picture Book high quality products is ruinous. Plus international Competition. We get Products from all over the world. Last week Last week fresh Strawberries. In Mid Winter And the Farmers are in lethal pressure to comply. Become a Farmer and grow your own food
  • I really admire how Sandra Gathmann conduct this programme with style, professionalism and objectivity. Kudos to Al Jazeera for the contemporary content and eye-catching visual appeal. Kind request to do an episode on Sri Lanka's engagement with the UNHRC after the end of its Civil War in 2009 or an episode on the UNHRC in general taking selected countries as examples.

Nothing but corporate greed , is the main problem. And then price gouging, using covid as a excuse !

  • @Urhoboman5
Because of bad policies, inflation, very ill equipped people in positions of power in multiple governments.
  • LOGISTIC... Shipping owners made huge profits.. people are bidding and willing to pay CRAZY charter rate.. In the end these expenses are dumped on consumers..
  • @nandlalsall8244
let me guess...there will be no mention of corporate profitability, huge executive salaries and bonuses and of course dividends for shareholders...its all a smoke screen for multiple other agendas

The only thing that tops Sandra's analysis is her world-class voice. I can listen to her all day.

I'm so glad I am now fasting for health. I gave up all snacks and will eat just one or two meals per day. It is healthier anyway. The grocery stores, food industry, restaurants and bars will suffer if every adopts this healthier way.
  • @abanerjee5066
I spent the entire news coverage watching this beautiful journalist rather than getting time to hear world's problems. I would rather sit there and watch her all the day than any other world problems.

We have enough food, people just need to stop wasting food!.!.
  • @johnnymcblaze
Food prices are rising because people don't know what it takes to produce the food. In a rual area honey is cheap, but in the city it's as expensive as gold.
