As a ref myself, the only thing I would say is to get closer to the net for goals. It is hard reffing on your own tho especially how fast these guys are lol

New series idea. Nasher actually becomes a ref via the USA Hockey program, and we get to watch as he goes up the ranks of referee from youth, to juniors, to the low pros (FPHL and SPHL), to the affiliated minors (ECHL and AHL), to The Show.

I'm a ref too, when the puck is down low, be opposite side of the ice, just a few feet up ice, and from the boards. Always try to be at the goal line for goals. Only hover the blue line when calling offsides. Always try to anticipate play, usually always up ice to the play.
