I know this isnt what the song's about BUT : "Cruel professor, studying romances, how am i supposed to pretend i never want to see you again?" reminds me of my molecular biology professor whom everyone hated ( he was that one professor everyone hated and were afraid of cz he was so strict nd it was impossible to make it in his class) but i liked him and admired him as a scholar/person, he clearly loved his job and gave it his 100%, the man knew almost everything about everything in our field of study and even went on recommanding universties for us if we ever wanted to persue a PhD. All in all he was all i wanted to be/be with (not to mention he gave off academic daddy vibes xD all my dark academia friends agreed to this). However, i had to pretend like i didnt like him either cz whenever i said "no, he's cool" i got ppl thinking im unstable lol

There's this girl who knew it was my birthday and they made a presentation for it along with all of my friends. This song was playing on the second slide, the one that she had made, and on that slide was everything i had mentioned i liked to her. They showed it to me on my birthday after I had a rough time for a while. I've only known them for a short period of time but they have made my day so much better. I had gotten out of a two year relationship only two months ago, and most of my friends didn't really check up on me, but this girl has been so kind to me since the first day we met. They have made sure i was okay every day since we met. They were so supported when I came out as bi, and even decided to buy me a bi pride pin because i said it would be cool to have one at one point.
