I’m simply amazed that one human brain can have the bandwidth to drive that many hands and feet at that rate. Astonishing!
  • @limitstoprogress
Johnathan Scott: World's best living organist and organ transcriptionist. It is amazing what the best of human brains can accomplish, as opposed to some which can only imagine war.
  • @2btpatch
It is called a concerto for a reason. Normally there is an ensemble of instruments and players required to perform this piece. That one man can do it on this impressive organ is mind boggling.
  • @French-Kiss24
I have no earthly understanding of how you can move your hands and feet all at the same time and make such marvelous music.
  • The organ is considered to be the queen among the instruments, but somebody who can play it so masterfully deserves to be called the emperor among the organists.
  • God created the king o instruments and those who have the gift to perform on it ❤
  • @anickode
I wholeheartedly believe that Bach composed for organ even when he wasn't composing for organ. Magnificent!
  • @firebearva
WOW what a gift to possess the ability to play such a complicated instrument to that degree of perfection .

Unbelievable!!! When The Most High gives the gift of talent, it is with "all stops." I can't imagine this fella playing as he does. God bless your talented soul!!!

Bach's mind must have been magnificent, to have "heard" this in his head and committed it to complex notation. Only a superbly-skilled musician can do it justice. Excellent!
  • Someone said: "the organ is the king of all instruments." And Mr Scott plays it just perfectly.

I close my eyes and the music sets my soul a-crying. I wish I were there to feel the vibrations of the resonating deep notes.
  • In centuries no one else has understood the brilliance of this piece and translate it to the pipe organ. Congrats Johnathan, you are a true great, a magician of the pipe organ.

This Bach piece on a magnificent organ brought back memories of my dear father. He just LOVED organ music. I remember waking up, as a young child, early Sunday mornings to the sound of Bach organ music in our home. It developed in me an appreciation for organ and classical music that has never left me. My father paased away in 2019 at 90 years of age. I miss him greatly, but listening to this music gives me comfort. Thank you for sharing it with us.
  • Mere words cannot do justice to this performance. Jonathan, your playing is always excellent, but watching your hands & feet dance to this piece, well, who'd have thought it was humanly possible? Bravo, just bravo.
  • @ericpass9749
I have always loved this piece and after venturing into the other concertos, they are all magnificent. Bach was a brilliant mind, and I hope many hundreds of years from now his music will still be celebrated
  • Tout simplement merveilleux ! Un concerto de Bach à l'orgue époustouflant. Je serai toujours un inconditionnel de Bach.
