Many actors go on to resent being associated with their most famous roles. Anthony Daniels seems to be 3POs biggest fan. What a treasure.

I love how he mentions every set, every character, by the actual name in the Star Wars Universe, rather than just some ambiguous comment. It shows his absolute passion of the franchise and his true attention to detail.
  • @Legend64Project
I love how much Anthony embraces the role of C3PO. Perfect casting.
  • @JoJo-oc8zf
Harrison: I hate Star Wars Anthony Daniels: I AM STAR WARS
  • @MattWileyArt
This is the English translation of the story he told to the Ewoks.

Anthony Daniels is a real professional, to be honest he could easily be pretentious about all of it and think himself above Star Wars (like Alec Guinness allegedly could be and Harrison Ford sometime is) but instead he absolutely loves it and knows how important his place is in the saga and how important it is in our lives. Glad I watched this, the man is a true poet and can't wait for his next performance.

His George Lucas impression is actually really good
  • @Lovelyclarii
Has he ever narrated an audiobook? If not he needs to asap.

For anyone wondering why he's such an amazing visual storyteller, ever so elegantly making smooth hand motions and incorporating sounds in perfect sync with them, it's actually because he was trained in pantomime before he did Star Wars.
  • @mayahorner7838
i'm slowly realizing the mechanical sound of threepio's voice is just an element of Anthony Daniel's voice
  • @evilmonkee42
I'm as captivated by Anthony's story as the Ewoks were of C-3PO's in RotJ.
  • @pajamas_the_emo
I love how he just casually switches into his Threepio voice randomly
  • I love how every star wars actor ever has impersonated George lucas voice lol
  • @DukeSolaire
27:07 It's so strange and wonderful to see an actor who seems to be the biggest fan of the character he himself played. It's so fantastic I love it.

I would pay to watch a 10 hour film of Anthony Daniels, Mark Hamil, and Ewan McGregor sit in a room and talk about Star Wars
  • I dont know why i turned this on expecting to just watch a few minutes and leave. Ended up watching all 50. Very cool!!!

He's an actual treasure. I love when such smart, classically trained, respected actors express their love for working on franchise films. It legitimizes them that much more. It's like Tom Hiddleston playing Loki.
  • My favorite part of the whole thing is how gracious and complimentary he is toward everyone he worked with. He is candid about the unpleasant aspects of the costumes etc. Yet he tells all of it in a way so you know how dedicated and hardworking everyone who helped was. What a lovely fellow. Thanks Mr. Daniels!
