It is my belief that the higher emotional center is what enable one to have what we would call 'psychic powers'. There are multiple occasions of people giving account of Gurdjieff doing super natural acts. Gurdjieff had attained the higher emotional center, it is what was never understood and taught to Ouspensky (who was absolutely brilliant intellectually). Emotional center relates to being and it cannot be faked.
