This performance is probably the best I've ever heard. John sensitively treats important cadences and moments of harmonic interest and doesn't just fly right by them. Bravo!

  • The last time I heard this instrument live was a recital by Andrew Millington....I think 2014. I love the organ at Salisbury, and of course, the space is pretty amazing too! I have heard John Challenger on a few broadcasts. He never fails to impress...technique (Check) , musicality in spades, and one of those organists who perfectly register every piece. This is another super performance. Thanks!
  • Yes perfection, one of the greats from St Johns College ,Thank you John ,as always
