First thing first: congratulations. Second, do never ever throw it away. Never. Your first mini will always be a special one. Then: get better brushes and clean them gently. Thin paint and go the two thin coats way :). All the best.
  • @Rook986
That is exceptional for a first miniature! You'll learn over time how the paint behaves and get better at it. Thin paint and multiple layers is better than a thick one, and soon you'll learn how to blend slightly lighter tones for highlighting

That is an exceptional mini for a first time, i hope you enjoyed it. I am still a beginner and i have found that watching some tutorials from Vince Venturella has really helped me.

Who else noticed the Ultramarine transfer and instantly thought HERESYYYYYY :)))))))

Glad to see this in the recommendations. Only a few minutes in and already enthralled. It's always nice to see YouTube recommending good content creators. Subscribed and looking forward to new updates! I've just got back into painting myself, spectacular timing.
  • I'm so glad this showed up in my recommended. Welcome to the hobby!

Great work on your first mini. Smaller brushes will help on those skulls. 😊 congratulations
  • @King_of_Sofa
It looks really good for your first mini. My first mini, I put the paint on way too thick and it looked horrendous. Yours looks great, nice job!
  • @Alice_Aura
What do you think about the final result? Let me know in the comments what and how I can improve - especially about these goddamn skulls! 😄
  • @The_Foil
For a first miniature paint, that's very very good!

Excellent first miniature, 100 times better than my first attempt. You were very brave to pick the Chaplain, and to be honest you did a brilliant job! As Rook says, thinning your paints will help give a smoother finish. Also if you use a product called MicroSet it makes the transfers a bit easier to apply. Really love the way you used the mud to make him part of his environment.

outstanding work 4 a first mini. cant wait to see what the next one looks like.

If you want 40K and not too bulky - there are Sisters of Battle. I love them, got almost 5k Points of them now. Such awesome looking miniatures.
  • Beautifully done! I could never play W40K myself as it involves painting more than 5 minis. It's skirmish all the way for me!
  • Awesome paint job for a first miniature. Really glad you enjoyed the process and will continue to paint more minis. Great video of the process.

Your finished mini looks better than my first mini. Welcome to the hobby, and beware it is addicting. The only real rule is paint the mini the way you like it and have fun!
  • Subscribed. Will definitely check out any future miniature painting videos! Warhammer is fun. Loads of different miniature ranges out there. Try all sorts! Some companies make miniatures purely for display purposes.
  • Welcome to the hobby. You done a fantastic job for your first miniature. Keep up the hard work 😀
