So it begins… 💸💸💸

This is not me being emotional now that the final season of Succession is upon us…🥹😅
It’s rewatch nostalgia time and I’ll be uploading some of my fav memorable moments/ small scenes/lines that I couldn’t find on YouTube in full or at all. Cheers!

I don’t own anything in this video.

  • "Don't jump" to the guy who for 4 seasons migrates to ledges and heights during times of crisis. Stay tuned.
  • This is also why I hated how everybody dumped on Ken for being a terrible CEO, the man was literally given a bomb in his first seconds of being CEO and had to figure out his best way to get out of it. Did he maybe make the wrong choice, yes but his hands were literally tied behind his back and he had no other options, and I hated how Logan used this to treat him like shit afterward.

this was the exact moment I knew, I was in a hell of a ride watching this show
  • my favorite piece of this whole situation is that while logan was able to keep this under wraps for pretty much his entire tenure as ceo but kendall finds out and almost immediately turns around and tells roman and stewy (who specifically tells him NOT to trust him)
  • The crazy thing about this situation is that Waystar's market cap must be around 80 billion. And, generally, a company have a profit margin of 5% of what it is worth. In other words, this debt is literally what Waystar earns in a year. In short: for them it is impossible to pay in full.

I like how the subtitles couldn’t even believe Gerri said that shit and instead show “good job”.
  • This shows Ken is genuenly a good business man. even better than Logan because the whole debt thing and secret loan is not very business savy

The character progression of Kendall is so crazy good, ive only watched this show thru once but I think the context of the whole thing will make a rewatch so good and ill probably love the show twice as much He just was never the same after the s1 finale, even 3 seasons later.

It was kind of messed up that Gerri waited until Kendall was named CEO to drop this on him. I get that it was likely for legal purposes that she couldn't tell anyone about this except the temporary CEO but it's still messed up. "Hey congrats on becoming the top guy. Now here's this major problem that you have to deal with good luck lol xd"

"😳" (The employees on the top floor office who were just letting some air in)
  • Ken did the best he could, if he was more serious with the bank he maybe could have renegotiated but he’s just so insecure. But all in all he wanted waystar to become a tech conglomerate but they bought local tv and had to sell to gojo. Ken was right.

It's interesting how Kendall's initial reaction to news of any setback is just flat denial. It happens here, it happens when he finds out he can't take the helicopter back to the vote of no confidence, it happens when he realizes they won't just let him back into Waystar after publicly going to war with Logan, and I'm sure there's more instances. He always moves past it pretty quickly, but it shows how spoiled he was raised. I bet if I really looked I could find Logan & the other siblings having similar reactions.

And the don’t jump foreshadows when Kendall thinks about jumping off the roof in the second season. Ha
