Accused of a crime he did not commit, Tommy decides to take the blame and serve a sentence at Glasgow’s Barlinnie prison, presuming his family will be looked after. However he finds himself at the mercy of prison life whilst his family are left to fend for themselves. When he is finally released he is forced to pick up the pieces of his life and face the reality of his situation. A wrenching story about how spending time in prison affects those both inside and outside of the walls, this unique production mixed professional and non-professional actors, some of who were serving time and have used acting as a road to rehabilitation.

    Stumbled upon this totally by accident - great little Glasgow drama which put me in mind of those gritty Peter McDougall 'Play For Today' classics of the late 70's (Just A Boys Game', 'Just Another Saturday') - and that's a major compliment because I haven't seen anything better since. Hat's off to the director and cast.

    My dads older brother down that to me .phoned the prison up to say I wasn't welcome at my grans funeral in 2012 .was very close to her seen her every day,

    Been in wi a few of they boys, mad pope n that, he's a good boy, got me liking showtek. Was mc ing to me playing guitar, he's a talented lad. The other boys at the pool table anaw. Adam or Craig, a think, it's been a while was in Letham wi um. Sound as fuck. The bald boy tae this was on the mark guys. A spent ma full 20s in and oot ae bar. This was actually decent as fuck, thank you for posting this.
