It's gratifying to listen to your discussions on illustrated books for, oh!, so many reasons. I know a lot of these illustrators and writers, too, and you have quite a few of my favorites on your shelves. (I was short-listed and made it into the "end-run" for the Caldecott twice, so this collection is very near and dear to me.) It's fascinating to hear what you like the most about the art and the texts (and where some of the books are wordless, what you like about them). I'm currently working on completely new books, coming after a time when my publishers underwent a hugely turbulent time, when a lot of our books were dumped on the discount markets; it was painful and costly to a lot of us. My friends and I care deeply about illustration, and, writing for young readers and to see your collection really restores my sense of joy for this field. Thank you so very much for your video postings! I appreciate them.

3:48 "Printed in Singapore"? Because of censorship, bad history, outcome of events that was featured (even loosely) in this book?
