Back in the day, my parents & I used to take little weekend trips, like you do, only we would seek out different Big/Odd Lots & K-Marts! Then we would eat out at usually a buffet, cafeteria, or sometimes fast food. Most people didn't understand why we did this, but I have such memories! Later, we incorporated some thrift stores also!

I like the thrill of the hunt as well. Some of my friends make fun of me for shopping at Dollar Tree. I think it's fun! Good haul.
