Nicole Kidman is such a good actress, but for the past ten years or so I can't take her seriously because her face is so frozen. It really takes me out of whatever I'm watching.
-
Not Kathy Bates being the cutest of the main cast.
-
Joseph - "I'm not trying to make fun of them, but...(proceeds to read them both like a #1 Best Seller)"
-
Kathy Bates looked absolutely gorgeous in this film!! She’s soooo incredible in everything she does 😊
-
The biggest issues with this movie are that it is both boring and annoying, and because of Joseph, I couldn’t stop thinking about out how bad Nicole’s wig is.
-
What makes a 24 year old think she knows what a woman in her 50s is thinking and feeling? Talk about a reach.
-
Zac looks like a brick? 😭
-
"...a reunion after she peed on him in the paperboy" Now I need to look into the paperboy and see what that was all about lol
-
I miss when Nicole's face had emotion.
-
Not a brick 😭😭😭

Zac Efron is a damn fine actor. This Joey King I think just took a huge leap in her career/skill. She did such a good job here playing off the other actors around her. She was so damn believable, and I am inspired by her performance. Nicole Kidman looks like they have to use CGI on her face. I'm not joking there are a few shots I think are touched up with CGI. She does a good job though as the Mom, like a pretty damn good job. I unexpectedly really enjoyed this movie. Fun to hear you fellas discuss this one. Best to you.

hold on i'm gonna have to get a snack for this one 🍿

I loathe kitten heels!!!
-
Are we now in the era of cougar movies 😂
-
Now I have that Madonna song stuck in my head.
-
Listen, if you have Nicole's skin, you wear sunscreen at night 😂😂😂
-
🫢 I see the side eyes 👀 are out 😁
-
Dang, I love Living Out Loud it’s so sweet

Joseph's line of questioning the daughter's logic of 'protecting rich Mom' angle was honest! Maybe low in the comedic... I mean, got me thinking the script was trying to be clever by switching roles of a "concerned Mother" to a daughter instead - but it still falls flat🤨

I thought this movie was unintentionally hilarious. It was such a stupid idea but I actually liked it because it was completely preposterous. I found myself laughing hysterically over the absolute ridiculousness parts of this flick.
