Jean-Claude Van Damme stars as Lyon Gaultier, a member of the French Foreign Legion who deserts his post in order to come to America and help the family of his murdered brother. But crossing the U.S. without a penny to his name proves difficult. Lyon then takes up the sport of bare-knuckle fighting, earning him the money to reach his destination and support his loved ones -- but with the Foreign Legion hot on his trail, will he ever find peace?

My father loved this movie. Would have been his birthday today. It was good to sit down and watch it again, as if he was there.

Jean-Claude is a legend. Every boy who grew up in the early 90's enjoyed his action movies, physique and martial arts discipline. Was a great time growing up. We had great role models. Today's generation is lost. God bless!

The first guy he fights under the bridge was a correctional officer when I was in guadalupe parway juvenile hall in san jose california. Mr. Love. He selected the biggest 3 of us... me being one of them, and said ..."ok guys...MOVE ME"... We failed. He also taught us one armed push ups and appeared on the Carson show jump roping with a woman on each shoulder. He was a formidable man but by nature I remember him just being very kind and patient even in a juvenile hall environment. Thanks Mr love. Shout out to Mr Wise as well.

This is my fav JCVD movie. My brother and I watched this a lot as kids. This movie is simply about one man doing right by his deceased brother. Having a brother is a blessing. Don’t take them for granted. I would know, my brother was killed by a drunk driver almost 6 years ago. This movie helps me when I’m down.

This is my favorite JCVD movie. It has a great story line with muscles and heart. Joshua is so comical, but deep down a good man. One major thing, unlike, S. Steagal Mr. Invincible, JCVD actually gets hurt and bleeds in his movies, and can act better. Seagals face looked like he's constipated, lol

I'm not a big fan of Jean- Claude but this movie is an exception. Perfectly paced, good character build up, cinematography, writing, directing and acting make this one worth watching a few times!!!

I remember this back in the 90s as kid favorite movie out of all Jean Claud van dam helped me defend myself against bully’s in elementary 💪🏽 this a good movie for BKFC and felony fights bum fights
