Catching a SHINY of EVERY TYPE in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

Actually I'm pretty sure every gen added a dog Kanto - Growlithe & Arcanine Johto - Houndour, Houndoom, Snubbull, Granbull & Smeargle Hoenn - Electrike & Manectric Sinnoh - Riolu & Lucario Unova - Lillipup, Herdier & Stoutland Kalos - Furfrou (Slurpuff is also partially based on pugs) Alola - Rockruff & Lycanroc Galar - Yamper, Boltund, Zacian & Zamazenta Hisui - Growlithe & Arcanine 2 Paldea - Fidough, Daschbun, Maschiff, Mabosstiff, Greavard, Houndstone & Okidogi

A cool trick you can do for bramblin is to go to the desert with an encounter boost, and wait for a sandstorm. Normal bramblin will fly away in sandstorms but shinies will not. I found 2 back to back in a few minutes

You know why shiny Krookidile doesn’t get any love Thumbus? It lost its glasses.

I love this so much!! I'm glad to see a sequel <3 I gotta say it everytime though as a game designer: the shiny metal on the pokemon models are materials, not textures ;-; Textures are the colours / patterns and materials are the quality of the textures (i.e. metallic appearance!) The textures would be unique to the pokemon (i.e. swablu has a yellow colour and white wings when shiny) but materials are universal, meaning the same material type is applied to magikarp, rellor and the luxury balls on their respective texture!

Dusk is my favorite of the Lycanrocs! My dusk form hunt literally took 10 minutes XD.

You could have caught the tiny Medicham and check if it has the "Tiny" mark! Those are rarer than shinies!
