She possesses the mental strength to do anything. It’s all in the mind and hers is clearly as powerful as they come.

She saved her own life. Amazing. Most people in that show don’t end up living long at all. She’s amazing.

It’s important people understand that really overweight people often have eating disorders. You wouldn’t make fun of someone with anorexia, so you shouldn’t make fun of someone with a different eating disorder either. Good for this woman

She didn't like her situation and she changed it, despite how hard it was. Lesson for all of us.

Edit: didn't know it needed to be said but I'm talking about things that ARE WITHIN our control and the biggest obstacle is difficulty. We all have unchangeable things beyond our control in our lives and I'm sorry to those of you who are going through struggles you can only manage but not fix.

You know what's the sad part? That if people wouldn't know her story she would still (or maybe even is) get those "loose some weight" comments in any shape of them. 💀
  • Good for her. I hope she still keeping it off too. I know that is very hard to do. You should be proud of yourself.
  • I was a cashier for a woman once who rolled up on the electric cart. She was rather large, but she bought nothing but fresh veggies. Then she told me she had weighted 600 lbs, and had lost 200 lbs on a plant based diet. I gave her a BIG HUG! No surgery necessary for this amazing lady!

I'm so proud of you girl❤ this is enough to make a grown man cry😢
  • Good for her!
I don't understand all the comments mocking body positivity. Being overweight or underweight to the point your health is declining, is a problem. Everyone's bodies are different and what's healthy to one person may be different from another. Body positivity isn't about glorifying unhealthy habits. It's about accepting that not everyone's bodies are the same. If they can still function and maintain a somewhat healthy lifestyle, then size doesn't matter! Being overweight to the point you can't do daily tasks, then it's a problem. Being underweight to the point your heart is weakening, then it's a problem.
Dangerous weight amounts (over AND under)=Not good
Body positivity=healthy bodies don't all look the same
