Groots, fel en prachtig: onweer 6 september 2022

Around 11:30 PM a fellow enthusiast decided to pick me up, with me stowing quite a lot of equipment in the car.
The storm didn't last long and wasn't that spectacular soundwise, but darn was it visible!
With three camera's (two videocamera's, one photocamera) and an extra microphone I took recordings at the edge of the village of Ilpendam. One camera was looking south, the other east. As soon as the text appears in the right-corner of the screen, you will see images of the same moment but seen by the two camera's right after eachother. Especially the camera pointed east got some magnificent images.
Two strikes in the Gouwzee (Gouwsea) were well visible.
The last discharge closeby, produced incredibly loud explosions that shook the car. Then back home, where I really took the time to enjoy the strong shower that followed, the first significant rain in months.

Ik stond vanuit mijn zolderraampje in vorden ook te genieten en foto's te maken. En inderdaad hier ook de eerste regen van betekenis in lange tijd :)

Leuk nog een onweerfreak daar houd ik van ik ben nog opzoek naar een chase maatje ik weet niet of je via youtube ook pb kan sturen maar mocht je je geroepen voelen dan houd ik me aanbevolen
