The fact that he made sure to ask Mrs. Farley permission first, and she was so excited because she loves when anyone talks about Chris makes it even better. Sandler is the best.

Whatever you think of Sandler as an actor, he got his friend trending 20+ years after his death. Loyalty is not letting the world forget your friends name.

“We said, you better slow down, you’ll end up like Belushi and Candy, he said those guys are my hero’s that’s all fine and dandy”. Best line of the Tribute ❤️❤️❤️🤘

“Nothing was harder than saying goodbye, except watching Chris’s father have his turn to cry” 🥺

Say what you want about Fallon. But when he does segments like this when he’s just talking and telling stories, he’s absolutely brilliant. I think about his Prince tribute and the day after the SNL 40th anniversary . Brilliant storyteller.

5:40 he starts talking about Chris Farley tribute. 😢

I spent all Sunday watching Farley skits here on YT. So thanks for that prompting, Adam.

Farley is the greatest. Sandman did him justice. Cried and cried when I saw/heard it just now.

Hearing what went on backstage after the Farley tribute makes me cry. 😭 that’s beautiful. I’m so glad anyone who was there got to experience that, it must have been heart wrenching, funny and lovely all at the same time.

SNL was absolutely loaded with talent in the eraly 1990s. Farley, Sandler, Spade, Mike Myers, Phil Hartman, Chris Rock, Kevin Nealon, Rob Schneider, Tim Meadows, Dana Carvey, Julia Sweeney, Norm MacDonald, Ellen Cleghorn and a bunch more I know I'm forgetting. I was a dork in high school and never went out on the weekends but how I LOVED when 11:30 Saturday night would roll around knowing I will laugh my ass off and forget about my problems for the next 1 1/2 hours.

Chris Farley was a phenomenal person. Kudos to Adam for one of the best tributes I've heard. 🙏

Chris Farley will always have an impact on the comedy community, he really inspired a lot of people that I know and I’m pretty sure everyone as a child saw Tommy Boy which was a golden classic.
