San Diego: Panga Arrives on Beach 07232022

San Diego Fire-Rescue Lifeguards received a call about a boat that had washed ashore in the community of Bird Rock. When lifeguards arrived, they found an approximately 12′ foot panga boat with no occupants.

Lifeguards found one life preserver along with a fuel canister. The long stretch of beach is infamous for human smuggling by boat. On 7/11/2022, another panga boat was found along the shoreline just one block South of this location.

    Where are those over the horizon high tech balloons to monitor the coasts Seems like our tech is behind the curve literally
