Ranking EVERY Spirit Halloween Year (2008-2022)

In my opinion it would be perfect if 2018 and 2022 switch

You have to give props to spirit for the 2022 theme,it amazes me that they somehow incorporated water in a CARDBOARD display.It was very risky especially since the bubble tubes were next to the screens in the back theme.2022 would of been a good year but the animatronics held it back.

I remember when I was little, someone had that Mad Scientist decoration outside their house, and it scared me! I've been searching and searching to find out what it was, all I remembered was the exposed brain, but I thought it was a butler, so I couldn't find it!

Im glad i was able to see 2011 even though it was in a small store with only zombie wasteland. Fun fact, the scariest thing for 3 year old me there was the waterfall and not the big zombie or man being eaten alive by a rat

my ranking : 15- 2020 (i honestly hated this year, probably the weakest year for spirit.. nothing about it was interesting or scary. and for the props they were meh, harvester of souls carried the year) 14- 2009 (ISE’S and props were generic) 13- 2018 (i loved the lore to it, and the barn house but nothing about it was scary, and it was kinda boring) 12- 2016 (gorgeous ISE’S but some of the props were generic & reskins, forgettable year. we did get some cool ones like morning gory) 11- 2008 (the only real ISE was dungeon of horrors) 10- 2019 (the ISE’S were really cool, but the executions & props were.. none really fit, the only good ones were bloodthirsty betty, demonic dahlia, waving wally & some others) 9- 2017 (i really liked the area 31 ISE, the front theme was a good idea, but bad execution) 8- 2015 (the back theme feels so nostalgic, idk why. it wasn’t as gory but i like it) 7- 2012 (i really liked this year) 6- 2022 (some of the props didn’t fit, but this was probably the best ISE’S in modern spirit, we got a couple good ones!) 5- 2021 (this was a really good year, we got really cool props, the sneak peaks weren’t good tho) 4- 2011 (criminally underrated, loved the zombie wasteland) 3- 2012 (amazing sneak peeks this season, good props lol) 2- 2014 (YESS this year was GOOD, props were also amazing) 1- 2013 (my first year! even tho i was still a baby i was a huge fan of this theme, unforgettable, scary, the asylum was amazing, props were perfection)

My ranking: 15. 2009 (besides Reaper of Souls and the Gemmy animatronics, the animatronics and ISEs were generic and boring) 14. 2022 (The marketing/sneak peak season was bad as well as most of the animatronics. But there were still a few good ones and the ISE designs were good, but the ISEs themselves could have been a tad bit bigger) 13. 2012 (my first year, most of the animatronics were generic, and the house of horrors was terrible, but the Barn and Terror Mill were cool.) 12. 2020 (Aside from Johnny Punk and Mommy’s Favorite, the animatronics were decent. The ISEs could have been better though had Covid not happened) 11. 2016 (The ISEs were gorgeous, but a lot of the animatronics were generic and reskins. But there was some good animatronics Like Howling Werewolf, Boogie Man, Mourning Gory, and Floating Ghost Girl) 10. 2008 (The only real ISE this year was Dungeon of Horrors, the other two were just tiny displays, the animatronics were classic though.) 9. 2017 (I think Area 31 and Spirit Hollow are pretty underrated, half of the animatronic lineup could have been better though) 8. 2018 (This year wasn’t that bad for me, Spirit Acres Farm and Dead Harvest Farmhouse had pretty good design. The animatronic placement could have been better though. The Farmhouse felt kinda empty. The animatronics were cool though!) 7. 2015 (This was the first year without two themes in a while. But compared to the other modern years, this was one is actually really good.) 6. 2019 (The animatronics were great, and so were the ISEs. Just wish we got more aquatic animatronics.) 5. 2021 (If the shipping delays weren’t a thing, this would have probably been higher. The best modern year of Spirit Halloween in terms of animatronics. There was a good variety) 4. 2011 (This year is just classic. Classic graveyard in the front, amazing licensed characters in the middle, and a creepy zombie sewer ISE in the back. This felt like a Halloween store. Only problem is The House of Horrors was kind of lame. Also the Zombie Baby ISE was cool. 3. 2010 (This year was also very iconic. A circus with unique animatronics in the front, A classic graveyard in the middle, and amazing licensed characters in the back. It was hard to decide whether 2011 or 2010 was better. But this one is slightly better because of the Circus.) 2. 2014 (This year is really underrated. This was the first year to have a proper sneak peek season. I remember 9 year old me getting excited when spirit released a new animatronic video every couple of days. The animatronics were also great. I thought the Gas Station was really cool to.) 1. 2013 (Obvious reasons. The variety in animatronics, the ISEs were outstanding, and the animatronics themselves were great.)

You were right about 2022 it was kinda ass and the teaky theme was kinda ass but the years in the start of the videos were the best but it’s your ranking but the year with micheal Myers and rusty the scare crow with the chainsaw was probably the best year.
